Great for hoteliers
So, if happy campers sleep in beds, one might wonder how they feel about rattlesnakes. It’s been said that rattlesnakes are actually somewhat cuddly, occasionally slithering into an unoccupied sleeping bag. So a word of advice. If you camp in rattlesnake infested areas, check your sleeping bag before getting in. Or, better yet, stay at a hotel.
This site is near Hot Springs and is a favorite because the creek running under the bridge is fed by warm springs and runs at about 65 degrees all year. Perhaps that’s why snakes like the area.
