Distance	25 miles
Time Needed:	Half hour or so, but maybe longer
Best Time To Go:	Open all year.  Gift shop open 8 a.m.to 10 p.m., June through August. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, May, Sept. & October.
Directions:	Take US16A and US16 east to Rapid City. Follow signs off of Mt. Rushmore Road in Rapid City.

Highlights:	Concrete dinosaurs on top of a hill in Rapid City
Description:	In an age with films like Jurasic Park and when kids expect to see their dinosaur models life-sized and animated these concrete relics from 65 years ago may seem passe.  But they still have a certain charm and the view of Rapid City from the top of Dinosaur hill is well worth the trip. It's free and if you have a chance you should go. If for no other reason than to see what it took to thrill your grandfather when he was little.
