| Description: |
This was
once a working gold mine that produced about 15,000 ounces of gold over
a 26-year period. It has been operated as a tourist attraction since
1954.
The main drift of this mine runs about 850 feet
back from the entrance. This tour features a view of a large open stope
and many of the tools used by the original miners. Operated by the
Deadwood Chamber of Commerce.
