| Highlights: |
Generally good fun that the whole family can enjoy. |
| Description: |
Typically chuckwagon dinner shows start out with a rather hearty
meal that's maybe a bit heavy on the starch. Look for beans, potatoes,
apple sauce, a biscuit and, usually, beef. The entertainment
is usually a cowboy band and a comic; and it's always wholesome family
stuff.
Guests are asked to form a line and each is given a
plate or tray. They then move through a line and the food is placed on
the tray. About 400 people can be served in 15 minutes. Guests return
the trays in a line after the meal. Then the show begins.
Chuckwagon dinner/shows are currently being put on at the Flying
T, the Circle B and Ft. Hayes. |
