This is the Black Hills' original tourist attraction, first opened in
1890. |
For more than 100 years people have been
coming to
the Black Hills' natural hot springs on which Evans Plunge is now
located. The plunge features naturally warm indoor and outdoor
geothermal pools
(87 degrees) with a 164-foot water slide (one of three), hot tubs,
steam baths. There are also two childrens' pools.
Rates apply all day.
Guests may leave and return on the same day. Age restrictions apply for
some facilities. Although hot springs were originally thought to have
healing properties, today the use is entirely recreational.
