Description:     The Big Thunder Gold Mine was once a real, operating gold mine during Keystone's heyday as a gold mining camp. Though never as big of a gold producer as Keystone's Holy Terror Mine, nor as famous as the old Etta Mine, the Big Thunder Mine today is the only gold mine in the Keystone area that's open for tours.
The mine also features an above-ground museum of antique mining and gold processing equipment, and an opportunity for gold panning.
