||Underground Tour of Old-time Gold Mine, Gold Panning
|| The Big Thunder Gold Mine was once a
real, operating gold mine during Keystone's heyday as a
gold mining camp. Though never as big of a gold producer
as Keystone's Holy Terror Mine, nor as famous as the old
Etta Mine, the Big Thunder Mine today is the only gold
mine in the Keystone area that's open for tours.
The mine also features an
above-ground museum of antique mining and gold
processing equipment, and an opportunity for gold
